No Room for the Blues

Photobucket

With the impending thought of law school constantly on my mind, I find myself resisting any purchases over $20 dollars. It's pretty gnarley to think of just how much a law education costs - even with a full scholarship, I am having severe anxiety knowing that for the next three years, my income is going to be minuscule. So what does a fashionista do? Buy super girly, super happy nail polishes! Because I can no longer afford to get my mani-pedi every two weeks (this darn economy!), I have learned to do my own nails, and I actually really enjoy it - something very relaxing about it, no? Here are the colors I've been sporting as of late:

Essie Flirty Fuchsia: The perfect neon pink.

OPI A Grape Fit: A purple lover myself, I love how this matte shade goes with everything.

OPI No Room for the Blues: Put this on the day I got it. There is just something undeniably happy about a bright crayola-colored blue.

It's great how a pretty shade on your nails can be like a mini makeover! Love those shades you picked. Law school is lucky they are going to have such a fashionable student. You'll be the less pink, more mature and brunette version of Elle Woods. :)

LOL you're so funny. That was totally a "legally blonde" moment (in a good way). I have to do my own nails too. It just sucks it doesn't last as long as a professional mani/pedi!

I love doing my own nails, it's almost like my meditation time :) Good luck on law school. I'm just about to start my last year and am happy that it is coming to an end. Just make sure to keep a life outside of school and it will be smooth sailing!

Haha, I totally did the same thing after I got some bad news last week. Bright polish makes everything better.

I'm totally with you there! Whenever I feel down, I don't feel bad about picking up a cheery OPI shade. It instantly lifts my mood. :) Love all the colors you got!
